This is a great video. It would be funny if it wasn't true. Does Saudi Arabia know how absolutely barbaric and backwards they appear to the rest of the world?
Hi Amy - I really do appreciate your concern. I don't feel scared about discussing issues that in my opinion are unfair and discriminatory to women. And I also think the Saudis have more urgent things to worry about than someone like me. I'll be fine, I'm sure.
I am glad to hear that and you are confident about going back. I confess I do worry about you with all I have read on your blog and the inequalities women face in SA.
But you would know better than I the social climate there and I am very glad to hear you are feeling good about your return.
I will continue to follow your blog with great interest :)
Just worried when I know women are treated with such inequality in SA and worried that as an American woman pointing such things out might piss them off. But yes, am sure they have bigger fish to fry.
But yes, have to admit I do worry about you damn it!
